The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MBG) implements a quality strategy and policy that is part of the Strategic Planning of the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), pursuing specific goals related to the quality assurance of the Undergraduate Studies Program (UPS). It is committed to promote its academic profile, to orient the subject of the program to modern requirements, as well as to implementing its strategic goals, determining the ways to achieve them. It aims for excellence in education and research, the production and dissemination of cutting-edge knowledge and the addressing of modern scientific and social challenges. The aim of the MBG is to continuously improve and receive feedback, thus the continuous strengthening and upgrading of the educational and research activities provided is sought, along with the strengthening of extroversion and connection with the labor market. The strategy is designed with the aim of supporting the academic content and scientific orientation of the three cycles of study offered by the Department, to continuously ensure high quality of the educational, scientific, research and administrative work produced by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, in accordance with international academic standards, applicable legislation and the principles of the National Authority of Higher Education (NHAE).
